Jack's helmet pulled off from his head. Then he saw three huge men. They were looking down him.
One held the torch with very squinty eyes. One had held on Jack with a very red face. One had held on to Annie with a very long mustache. They were guards of the castle.
They seemed to think maybe Jack and Annie were ones of the enemies.
The Three guards did arrest Jack and Annie. Then they carried to pull to the dungeon.
All they marched down the long, dark hallway. It was a narrow, winding staircase.
Annie shouted at the guards. "Dummies! Meanies!"
A big iron door was end the stairs with a bar across it.
It was the dungeon. Soon the iron door creaked open.
There was lit the torch light dimmly, chains hanging from the walls, dripping water from the ceiling, making puddles on the stone floor.
When the guards were about to chain them, as Annie quietly unzipped Jack's backpack.
Then she whipped her flashlight out of the pack, yelled Ta-da!
The guards froze. Annie switched the light on. "My magic wand!" Annie said, waving the flashllight.
The guards must was panic. They dropped the torch, jumped back against the wall. each howled and covered his face.
Jack couldn't believe if.
So they hurried out of the terrible dungeon.
