When Jack and Annie looked at the golden box inside,
There was a Queen of the Nile, Hutepi in the box, wrapping around her body.
Bandages had come off the face, her teeth were broken. her squashed nose and her hollow eye sockets.
When Annie saw the mummy, she wanted to get out of here but Jack wanted to study the mummy.
Jack read the Egypt book more. The book explained how to make a mummy.
Such an explanation made her more frightened.
Annie started out of the room alone. She was gone.
Jack put the scroll and the scepter to the mummy's skull and he came out the room.
He looked down the hallway but it was empty.
He tried to shouted where Annie was but she was no answer.
When he was looking for Annie with worry, he heard her cry for help far away.
So Jack ran toward her voice, but as he thought he come to her,her voice heard farther.
He went back toward the burial chambers.
Her voice was louder.
So he climbed the stairs and back into the boat room.
He looked around the room and he noticed there was a another door right next to the door where he came through.
He run into the other hallway . She was running through the hallway toward him.
Jack and Annie met in the middle hallway.
He figured out this was one of those false passages to fool the tomb robbers.
When they started to go out the right door, a creaking noise came out and the door slowly shut and all the torches went out.
