They looked out the tree house window.

There were spread a sea of green leaves outside. Jack wondered why the tree house landed on the ground. It always landed on the tree-top. So Jack had to read the book of the rain forest first. But Annie hoped to go back their home. Annie wanted to finish their mission before meet big bugs, spiders. Annie hurried climbing over the window first. Just then Jack shouted to stop her and get back. Outside wasn't the ground and the top of the trees was150 feet from the ground. The rain forest was made with three layers. Now, they were on its top. The top layer was named canopy.

They had to climb down using the rope ladder. Jack started to go down below first. Annie followed him with Peanut.

When Jack came to the understory below the canopy, he stopped for a second and looked down below. It was very different against the above the canopy. There was without sunlight at all, it was cooler, damp and quiet.
