Jack and Annie stepped out to the ground from the canoe safely. The monkey called a beckoned them.
Annie wanted to follow the monkey but Jack didn't want.
Because Jack thought they have to find a special thing then wanted to quickly go back home.
Annie and the monkey were gone into the forest. The rain fell thick and louder. So Jack had to go after them, too.
Jack followed them into the forest. The forest was dark, dry because it was covered with the treetops like a huge umbrella.
Jack called Annie. Annie called back him. Jack ran toward the direction of her voice.
He found the monkey and Annie. Annie was kneeling on the forest floor, playing with an animal like a giant kitten.
Jack wondered the animal. So he read the book of the rain forest. The animal was a baby of the jaguar that was one of the biggest predators.
Just then a terrible growl came from. The baby's mam came back. Jack whispered Annie, "Freeze!" Annie froze.
The mam jaguar kept moving to Annie. Jack asked a help.
Suddenly the monkey grabbed the jaguar's tail. Then he pulled the jaguar. Annie jumped up then Jack and Annie ran for their lives!
