Jack and Annie was alone in the darknees forest. They had to go back to their tree house themselves. The ninja master told them the tree house was east. Annie spoke let's go to the direction the tall ninja had pointed.
Jack pulled out his notebook and wrote the ninja master's words under the moonlight.
Use nature! Be nature! Follow nature!
Annie pulled her hood over her head and tied the strings tightly for seem like ninjas. Jack did the same, too.
Then they went into the woods. But they couldn't certain if the way was the right direction. So they kept going forward. They just kept going around the woods.
They had to think again. Jack thought the words of the ninja master, "Use nature." Then he remembered something seen in a camping book.
He said to pick up a stick to Annie and stick it into the ground in the moonlight.
Where the stick's shadow is pointing. That was the direction of the east.
Then they passed the pine woods, went down the steep rocky mountain. For a moment, they rested themselves against a big rock.
In there, they checked the direction of their way again. Just then Annie saw coming up the mountain the samurais. Jack and Annie hid behind the rock. Jack pulled out the ninja book and read about the samurai. The book said they were fierce Japanese fighters and carried two swords.
A samurai came closer above them. He wore a bamboo armor shining by the moonlight and his swords were gleaming.
