Jack and Annie tried to get out from there. Jack tried to reassure her, trying to stay calm himself.

They leaned against the wooden door and pushed. But the door didn't open. The door was no use.

Jack's heart was pounding. He was harder to stay calm. He tried to find their way. But they couldn't see even anything.

Jack said to Annie, feel the wall. They climbed the wall down the stairs. Taking one step at a time, moving their hands along the wall. They kept going. Around a corner and around another corner. And they went up.

There was a door. The door didn't open. They were trapped. Everything was still.

Just then came a sound. "Meow." The cat came back. They followed the sound. They reached the end of the tunnel.

They saw a light. Finally, they got out of the false passage. The black cat saved them.

They did thanks for the cat on the sand. The cat's tail waved.

Jack and Annie went back to the tree house on the palm tree. When they tried to go home back, they heard a rumbling sound. They saw out the window. A boat was gliding over the sand. Then it faded away.

It was the queen Hutepi maybe started her trip off to the Next Life.
