Jack and Annie worried the Peanut. They had to find her before Peanut freezes.

Annie hurried out to follow her tracks. Jack followed after hung his backpack his shoulder.

Her tracks were gone when they came to fallen rocks onto the open plain. Because the wind blew harder so the snow covered the footprints.

Just then Annie whispered, "Yikes."

A tiger appeared on the cliff. That was sabertooth haven long sharp fangs.

They hoped the tiger didn't see them.

Luckily, the tiger was gone.

They started running to the tree house.

Suddenly they fell into the deep hole, hearing a crack sound.

That was Cro-Magnons had dug the hole for their hunts.

Jack and Annie were caught in a trap instead of the animals.

They couldn't escape from the hole just themselves. They needed someone's help. Just then they heard a yowl in the distance. That was sabertooth's sound. Except it, there was not else sounds.

Jack opened the Ice Age book. It said the sabertooth was the fiercest beast of the Ice Age.

Just then Annie heard a music sound. Jack closed his eyes and listened to the sound carefully, too.

Annie cried, " Ahhh!" Jack opened his eyes and looked up.

A figure wearing reindeer antlers and an owl mask was staring down them.
