MTH 9-4 Hands Up! After the crowd was left away, Jack and Annie saw a colt. He seemed to be looking for his mother. Annie ran toward the colt despite Jack's hold back. "soft hand, firm voice, sunny attitude, praise, reward" Jack tried to treat the horse based on these rules. However, Annie already rode the horse's back. Annie wanted to get him to his mother. According to the book, the bond between a mare and her young is very strong. Jack opposed Annie's opinion in first but finally agree with her. Jack wanted to get off his cowboy boots.
