Shifu and Panda came from the pool of Sacred Tears after finishing Panda's training to the Jade palace. Shifu told Panda that he did awesome but still let him know that a true hero should have humility. As they came onto the boundary of the palace, Panda and Shifu saw the furious five who were paralyzed due to nerve attack of Tai Lung except Crane.
Shifu helped the member of furious five to recover their muscle and nerve status and all of them said to Panda and Shifu that Tai lung had been stronger and faster and they were no match for his attack. At first Panda was scared because the five master lost at the battle and Shifu told him that he could have a chance to fight against Tai Lung but
Shifu said that Panda would get something from the dragon scroll and none of the people in the world could have gotten until that time.
Finally Shifu and his students including Panda went to the hall to get the dragon scroll and Shifu used his Kung Fu to hold it. Before opening of the dragon scroll, Panda asked Shifu about his status after getting the power of the dragon scroll. Shifu said that legends had told that someone who got the dragon scroll could hear the butterfly's wing sound and see light in the deepest cave and also feel the universe motion around him. Panda was so excited to hear that news so Shifu asked him to focus to behold the scroll. Finally Panda opened it but there was nothing on the scroll and he gave to Shifu and he also knew the fact. Panda doubted that Oogway would be a old mad turtle and he wouldn't be the dragon warrior. Shifu was also confused that he said he didn't understand why there was nothing on the scroll. Tigress asked Shifu that who would fight with Tai Lung and the furious five was worrying about the villagers. Shifu asked his students to help the villagers to escape from the village and he would fight against Tai Lung for long enough to hold Tai Lung and said that if he were killed, he would have paid for his mistakes.
