Before dawn, Jack n annie went through the tree hose, leaved to 'The dark age in Ire island.

They were on a clif above the sea. Annie wanted to climb up but rocks were very slipery and the sight around was dim and misty. So, they were hard to see.

Just then, a rope fell down from the top of the clif. Annie thought it was sign of helper then she climbed up a steep stairs clutcing the rope. Jack follwed up after annie.

A bold man exept for fridge hair around his head. was standing on the top of the clif. He was a monk.

Annie thought he must be a wise person. So, she pulled out the secret card and handed it to him. Jack did too.

Letters 'M'&'L'stand for 'the magic librarians'were shimering on it.

And they gave a paper Morgan had given to the monk, He led them to a monastery. When they past through a gate, there was a small church with hanging a bell and a vegetable garden. Also, were six beehive-like huts.

The monk introduced inside of the huts to jack n annie. One for the cook, one for the cobbling, one for the spinning

In each of the huts, Jack and Annie could see monks. They were busy spinning or cobbling or carving.

Finally, Brother Patrick came to the largest beehive-like hut. the place was a library where the monk had thought the most important place to do the most important work.

The hut was warm and peaceful, yet very alive. It glowed with the golden light of many candles.

Monks sat at wooden tables. Some were reading. Others played chess. Best of all, some were writing and painting in books.

Brother patrick stepped to someone making a book. Jack n annie followed.

The book was  the thing that jack n annie had got to get. However, It hadn't been completed yet.

Brother Patrick told them to return for it, jack n annie came back to the tree house.

Suddenly, something like a ship shape was looming in the misty air over the horizon.

As it came into the view, jack knew. Vikings!

Jack n annie hurried over the monastery to notice the danger.

The monks were hasting for hiding and Brother michel who had dedicated  his all life for making the book, gave them the the book which had maded yet.

Brother patrick told them a another path to go to shore and jack n annie started down the steep path again.

Just then, the Viking's ship rose through the fog and the viking worriors landed the shore. They seems like to ready for climing.

Jack thought It would be better to hide until the Vikings went. After then go into the tree house.

They crept back to where the ships were tied.

Jack was happy to see that the sides of the smallest ship were very low. They would easily be able to climb over them.

But, when they cilmb inside, the rope went slack, and the ship slid out to sea.

They couldn't see anything by the fog,

They tried to row with oars. But these were so heavy to lift up and ripped from their hands by the very strong current.

The black sky shook with thunder and flashed with lightning.

Annie thought this was the darkest hour. Jack pull out the book in his bag and said "Save us, story!"

"The great serpent !"

the great serpent glided closer to the ship. and was pressing its long neck against the back of the ship.

The ship was moving toward the shore.

Jack n annie could land the sand for the serpent. It dove into the sea and gone.

Two Vikings were staring down at them!

The Vikings shouted and started down the steep stairs.

Jack and Annie began scrambling up the rocks.

They reached the tree house and climbed inside.Jack grabbed the Pennsylvania book.

Jack n annie came back saftely again. jack gave the book to Morgan.

She thanked them and jack n annie started down to the ladder.

Morgan leaved with sweet smile and jack n annie took off through the woods.
