After they moved, a giraffe was eating leaves off out of the windows.
They saw a huge grassy plain, a wide river and tons of birds and animals.
But, there were no lions yet.
In the reference of the book, It was the time to migrate from Tanzania to Kenya.
the animals should cross the Mara River. Zebra goes first, then the wildebeests.
They tiny gazelles swim last.
Annie saw the beasts who afraid to cross the river. Annie decided to help them.
Before she went there, Jack read the riddle in the scroll.

As soon as she listened to it, she ran to the side of the river and she encouraged the nervous beasts.
Jack wanted to read more related to giraffes and zebra.
it said the giraffe is the tallest animal in the world. it has a very powerful kick. so, lions tend to avoid it.
Regarding the zebras, it said there is no same pattern of stripes.
Jack read more it, it said zebra first cross the river and eat the coarsest grass and then the wildebeests arrive and eat next layer.
and then the gazelles eat last.
Jack thought each animal depends on the one that goes before.
Jack also tried to go to the near river where Annie was. But, he felt the bag was heavy. so he went back tree house and left the butter and bread.
When Jack turned back to the river again, he found Annie was disappeared. He just ran as fast as he could to the river.
Annie called 'Help!'.
