Today, I read a book MTH vol 9.
The sun was not up yet. But the sky was growing lighter.
Jack had been awake for a long time. Cuz he had been thinking about the dream he’d had—the dream about Morgan le Fay.
The tree house is back, Morgan had said. I’m waiting.
Anny came to him to tell that they have to go there, the tree house.
She also had dreamed as he 'd dreamed.
Jack slipped out the door. Annie was waiting for him.
Jack and Annie ran up their quiet street to the Frog Creek woods.
Soon they arrived at the tallest oak where the wooden house tucked in.
They climbed up the ladder, could see Morgan le pey who is enchantress and librarian.
She requested help that collect some books for her to them cuz she couldn't had done it by Merlin's tricks
But, in order to gather books, they had to be Master Librarians. So, Morgan gave them some test. It could make them to Master librarians in case of passing it.
Morgan gave a rolled-up paper with riddle and a book they had to go to solve the riddle.
When they opened their eyes, they could see pink island surrounded by water. This were coral reefs. Sea gulls cried and waves lapped the shore.
Anny picked up the paper and unrolled it
"Rough and gray as rock,
I’m plain as plain can be.
But hidden deep inside
There’s great beauty in me.
What am I?"
And then, Jack N Anny look at a strange looking machine.
It was a submarine.
Anny who had full of curiocity got into it. Jack was worried but he follwed.
While they look around under the sea with the submarine, they could see various sea creatures such as jelly fish, sea grass swaying, corals, sea horses and dolphins.
Two dolphins came to the glass of the submarine and tapped it with their noses.
Their eyes were bright. They seemed to be smiling.
Anny named them 'Sukie and Sam'
Anny had thought the dolphins were a answer of the first riddle. because they were gray and plain, have great beauty inside. However, they were not rough as a rock. Dolphin skin looked smooth and slippery.
But the dolphins were gone.
Then Jack n Anny meet octopus. they got threat a while,
the octopus got away shutting a cloud of black liquid into the water.
Jack looked out the window. The water was growing clear again.
A shadowy figure moved toward the mini-sub.
It was a hammerhead shark!
Jack could feel his heart nearly stop.
To make matters worse, water came into the sub from some cracks that sub had.
More and more water was coming in. they struggled to got out of the water.
Suddenly, the mini-sub burst out of the water.
Jack looked out. He saw the reef in the distance.
Now the water was up to their knees.
They had thought they should have to swim.
Jack quickly found the picture of the shark in the book.
He read aloud:
If you ever see a shark in the water, don’t splash. Swim calmly away.
Anny opened a hatch and they swam calmly.
Jack and Annie swam and swam and swam.
But the more swam the more tired he felt.
Just then, Jack soar up to the air.
The dolphin pushed Jack with its nose.
Jack looked over at Anny.
She was clinging to the fin of another dolphin! Her dolphin was moving through the water.
Jack grabbed the fin of his dolphin.
the two dolphins swam smoothly through the water, pulling Jack and Annie toward the reef.
then the dolphins slow down them to the reef.
Jack N Anny had thought they were fail to sove the riddle. Suddenly, Anny stepped on something.
It was oyster. It was rough and gray as a rock. And plain as plain can be. whispered Jack. They had found the answer.
What about great beauty?
Yes, It was a pearl inside the oyster.
They solved the one of 4 riddles.
