[Chapter 1]
Jack and Annie came back to the magic tree.
Having gazed up at the oak tree, Jack heard some noise which Annie didn't hear.
(I think Jack is so sensitive.)
While Annie started climbing, Jack tried to find something out in a clump of bushes.
But there's nobody there.
Still being suspicious, Jack also climbed up the tree.
In the tree house, Annie found the castle book wasn't wet anymore.
Jack was so astonished because the book was soaked in the moat.
Among other many books, this time Annie pick up a book about ancient Egypt with a green silk bookmark.
Jack turned to the page with the bookmark. There was a picture of a pyramid.
Even though Annie said "Let's go there now.", Jack wanted to study the book a little bit more.
But Annie knew how to get to Jack.
She reminded Jack how much he loved pyramids.
Then Jack made a wish. And they heard a cat meowing.
[Chapter 2]
They looked out the window.
The tree house was in the middle of sandy desert.
Below the black cat was staring up at them.
Since the cat ran away toward a giant pyramid, Annie saw the pyramid.
The pyramid was same as the picture in the Egypt book.
They also could see Egyptian funeral was taking place in front of the pyramid.
Annie rushed Jack to go out together to see the mummy.
Since Jack was hesitating, Annie called "mummy" again and again until Jack determined to go out.
Finally, Jack was determined to go out.
They started to go down the ladder and took off across the sand.
But the closer they got to the funeral parade, the harder it was to see it.
Then suddenly it was gone.
And only the pyramid was there.
Jack thought that it was a kind of mirage.
But Annie insisted it was ghosts.
Anyway, the black cat appeared in front of them again and slid around a corner of the pyramid.
Following the cat, Jack and Annie dashed around the corner and saw the cat disappearing through a hole in the pyramid.
