Jack and Annie were into the oak tree house.
The tree house was filled with books.
Jack wonder who owns all these books.
He noticed bookmarks were sticking out of many of them.
Annie held up books about Pennsylvania and dinosaurs.
Jack set down his backpack and grabbed the book from her.
And opened the book to where the bookmark was.
He turned to a picture of a Pteranodon. He touched the huge bat-like wings.
"I wish I could see a Pteranodon for real."
At that moment Annie screamed.
"A monster!"
She pointed to the tree house window.
Jack looked out the window.
A real live Pteranodon was gliding above the treetops!
He was coming straight toward the tree house.
The wind began to blow, the leaves trembled.
Suddenly the creature soared up.
The wind picked up. It was whistling now.
The tree house started to spin.
Faster and faster.
Jack squeezed his eyes shut and held on to Annie.
Then everything was still. Jack opened his eyes.
There was Annie and the books, his backpack.
The tree house was still high up in an oak tree.
But it wasn&apost the same oak tree.
